Best treatment for osteoarthritis?

There's not much you can do besides take an NSAID such as ibuprofen and other pain relief and keep warm and dry. I've had OA since my early 30s and it's horrible. Losing weight always helps if you're overweight and gentle exercise helps such as going for regular walks or swimming.

I take anti-inflammatories and pain killers at the  moment, my doctor says I'm too young to have a knee operation!

Although I'm 63!!
