Is that feedback or an insult?

I had been to a family gathering where an incident occured. All the relatives were seated in the hall and my uncle asked me about my grades. I told him that i got 70. Then he was like had you listened to your parents, you would have probably got 80.

70 out of 100 isn't bad.  Family can be insulting at times and should be ignored.  The answer to that observation is 'you may be right but it's too late now isn't it'.  End of story

Neither. I'd call it "constructive criticism."
