Because he is a narrassist and because of that mental illness they always blame someone else for anything as they think they are blameless for everything and anything

Pretty obvious how the FBI plays... They had Hunter's laptop for a long time before someone made it known that they had it.
IMO... They were hoping that it would go away because of incriminating evidence from the O years.
