What do you call the boss of a construction site. ?

Im not referring to the property owner, or the engineer/architect in charge of the planning. Im referring to the guy that has a number of workers that will do the hard labor. Does he have specific Title besides "boss"?

On larger sites that would be the Site Manager, who will have a number of foremen (despite the title, can be female) reporting to him or her.

On small sites there will just be the site foreman: usually a senior tradesperson supervising the other tradespeople and unskilled site labourers.

Usually that would be a foreman. The builder that is in charge is a foreman and he would be in charge of other builders as well as unskilled labourers on the site.
