What is the poetic device when you go "I am the sun, I am the wind, I am the fire"?
Would this be a metaphor or would it be personification because you are personifying yourself into those objects?
For example, If I said,
I am the fire that roars flames into the horizon.
Is that an example of a metaphor, personification, or both?

Metaphor. Personification would be the object given human qualities.

Those are metaphors. Directly comparing two things, like; “All the world’s a stage.”
Personification is when you give human qualities to inanimate objects like, “Sunlight danced on the surface of the lake.”
