Is Reed Richards unlikeable?

He always seemed arrogant, doesn't care about his family, and is always sexist towards Sue. Has that changed?

Update:

It's just that every interpretation of this character I've seen seems to be barely above a villain. Earth 1610 Reed even became a villain called the Maker. I'm all for complex characters but does anyone actual call him out?
