If I had a charge cleared is there any chance of it being on my background check? ?

I had a theft misdemeanor and took/paid for a class and had it sealed and thrown away. And now I’m getting a background check by the US marshals and I’m afraid they’ll still find it somehow

Your misdemeanor charge was NOT sealed, and for a Federal Law Enforcement position, there is NO SUCH THING as a sealed record.

The misdemeanor itself probably wouldn't be an issue. THIS QUESTION is why you don't have the proverbial snowballs chance in H*** of getting TO, much less past the background check for such a position.
