How to connect a soundbar to tv.?
My tv has 2 hdmi ports both are no hdmi (arc) on them. Question will a hdmi cable connected to a soundbar that has hdmi (arc) port work on a tv that has hdmi port with no hdmi (arc) function?

It *should* work.
With no ARC the TV will not be able to control the volume level of the soundbar so you’ll have to use the remote control for the soundbar instead.
Back to the *should*... HDMI was never designed to carry audio at all. The technical standard is for video only and the original design anticipated use of separate audio connections. But almost all HDMI devices made over the last decade have incorporated an audio carrying capability as well.
Most modern soundbars have multiple means of connection. Optical (TOSLINK), headphone socket, audio phono plugs and Bluetooth are the main suite of connections on all but budget soundbars.

When I put my one in I used a 3.5mm cord from the headphone out in the tv to the sound-bar and it works just fine. Quality is so good I threw my bose amp in the trash don't need it any more.

What about using the digital audio output from the TV ? Does the soundbar has such an input to use ?
