charger is broken how did this happen ?
ok so somehow the end of my charging cable (original iphone cable) fell into a bowl of sauce i came back an hour or two later and found it i tookm the sace off the cable and saw the end of the cable now had dark grey/black ish spots and i tried to plug it into my phone and ipad and neither of them worked . is there a way to fix this or no and if anyone knows why does it not work anymore ?

Either just the acids in the sauce, or if it was connected to power, it would undergo rather rapid electrolytic corrosion - "Reverse electroplating" in effect, where the metals are converted back to oxides and salts.
It's the same effect as happens to the insides of a phone etc. that gets water in it and does not have the battery disconnected immediately.
Just get a new cable. It does not have to be an Apple one, as long as it is from a supermarket or high street retailer etc.
