Can anyone tell me about this fake coin? ?

While traveling near Hue, I bought this coin from an old Vietnamese guy for $2.  He said it’s fake and thinks it came in a shaving kit.

It's not a real Morgan.  The obverse has no date or letters and the reverse is different.  I'm looking at mine right now

Based on seeing both sides, I revise my answer. It's not pretending to be a Morgan dollar. So it isn't a fake.  It's just a generic medal, not even a coin. Where it comes from only the maker knows. Probably made somewhere around where you got it.

It just looks like a Nickle from here. You bought a Nickle for 2$. What's on the other side?

It is only worthwhile if it is very old,  or it is made of a more worthwhile metal.
