What is the best amp for a power t1 Rockford fosgate sub. ?

The sub is a dual 2 ohm with 800 watts rms, 1600 watts peak. I'm only powering one sub. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

Get the Soundqubed S1-850 monoblock and wire it in parallel for 1 ohm.

You need to determine how much bass you can physically stand in your car and how it plays with the rest of your system. Rockford Fosgate makes fine amps at that power rating. That power doesn't come free, so also examine how much power your car has to run the amp without draining the battery while you ride around. Go to a stereo shop and audition speakers and amps to pick what's best for you and your car.  "Best" doesn't always mean able to push the speakers all the way to their limit. Try to achieve a reproduction of alive performance.

it doesnt really matter, any reasonable quality amp will do. you just need to make sure that your wiring is thick enough, and that the amp can handle the 1600 watt peak. (or 800 watt peak for one sub I guess)
