Question About CT Scan Results?
Hello! A few months ago I received a CT Angiogram, and I wasn't able to ask a question about the results in-person with my doctor.
What does it mean if in the right artery of my heart a “moderate sized PDA” was found? I understand that it can stand for either posterior descending artery, or patent ductus arteriosus. I also understand that the second one is much more serious, and I doubt I have it! Just curious as to how the descending artery can be different sizes? Are all heart arteries like that? Can you tell I ask too many questions?Anyway, thanks in advance if anyone answers. :)
