When importing food from China, how much money do they want? I’m a small business

You would need to look up your particular "food" products in the 20 chapters of the Harmonized Tarriff Schedule PDFs that apply to such commodities.  You would also need specific FDA or other approvals for the import packaging and labels, among other things.
