Guys, do you prefer wearing hoops or studs in your ear?

I quit wearing an ear ring years ago, but some of my friends still do. A small hoop lets other merchant marines, or sailors know that you have circled the globe.

I'm a girl but I usually wear studs in my ears, sometimes I wear hoops though.

i always wear my small hoops

I dont wear anything and I wouldnt want to because I'd be paranoid that they might catch on something and rip part of my ear off.
