Is there any way I can stop Microsoft from constantly prompting me to update my pc! Everytime they update my apps are going missing?

That's very easy to remedy go into update and security and look under developers options. Enable developers options and when you get your updates they updates will no longer uninstall your third party apps.

You can always pause it for a week at a  time

StartSettingsUpdates & SecurityPause Updates for 7 days
