Which name do you prefer Catherine or Josephine ?

I despise both of them, but if I HAD to choose I would pick the name Catherine.

Both are good. Catherine sounds more normal and conservative and Josephine cuter.

Catherine has better, more feminine nicknames than Josephine ever would.

I would dislike it  if Jo or Jose was used as a nick name for my daughter.

Catherine, by far. It's strong, elegant, feminine and classic with a lot of great nicknames. It's not just a boy's name that has been feminized like Josephine.

I like both names.  I prefer Josephine because it was my husband's grandmother's name.

Josephine because my great aunt was Josephine but we called her Josie. love the name Josie even on its own
