Is this sentence correct ? When we were students at class , it wasn't like " Oh I don't know the answer ."?

The sentence '"When we were students at class , it wasn't like " Oh I don't know the answer ."' should be corrected as: "While we were students in class, it wasn't as if we knew the answer."

That's very informal- ok for casual telling of a story, but not for an academic assignment. It's "in class". Don't use "like" in writing the way you would in informal speaking.
When we were students, we couldn't just say that we didn't know the answer.
When we were students, it wasn't as if we could admit to not knowing the answer.
When we were students, it wasn't as if we could say, "Oh, I don't know the answer."

You need a comma after "Oh", and you should write "...students in class..."
