I was in a left turn lane and didn't see any white lines to guide. I ended up driving in the wrong lane. Should I go to the police? Details?

After not seeing the white line, I ended up missing the exit and kept driving only to find the median ahead of me (it was dark and I had the normal headlights on). I ended up driving in the wrong lane and then turned where others turn for the same exit (as where I originally should've turned). Should I go to the police and tell them what I did?

You might call the state highway department and tell them the road is marked so badly you nearly had a head-on collision when you couldn't find the lane. Maybe they will do something.
