If Germans believe in Christ how did they get easily tricked into starting war?

Because at that time most of them lost their trust in God and started to trust in their own strength

Many wars in the past have been waged in the name of god: even today there are certain religious groups who cite IN THE NAME OF GOD. and then go an cut peoples heads off. So whether the NAZI swine believed in god or not really doesnt matter

All men are evil and have the potential for committing great evil. True Christianity or good is the narrow way and few take it. The broad evil way is easier and most take it.

You forget, or never knew, they were "Aryan" Christians. Should you not be informed as to the connotation, look it up.

They are not easily tricked into starting a war. Germany has had less wars in its history and England, Russia, France or the US.
Besides, they have not started any war since 1945. The US is the nation that has started the most wars since 1945.
Besides, religion has nothing to do with it. ALL religions have been at war with one another and started wars.
Furthermore, many Germans are not Christians. It is the same mix like other countries: Christians, Muslims, Jews, Atheists, Buddhists, Hindus, Agnostics, etc etc etc
This generalization does not make sense and is pub talk.

In both World Wars they thought that they were pushed into it. In WWI they were surrounded by the British and French on one side and Russia on the other. And they were committed to protect Austria. Everyone was preparing for war and the only way to survive seemed to be to attack first.
In WWII Poland seemed ready to attack Germany with the backing og France and Britain. There were border skirmishes and the Germans again attacked Poland to end these attacks and then attacked France to take back Alsace and Lorraine. 2 German areas that France hat taken over at the end of WWI.
In both cases they believed that their attacks were actually defensive.
I read a German history book that our library was going to throw out, written just before WWII. Quite a different way of looking at events.
