Why is this guy acting like this to me?

This guy gave me a mean look once and then I caught him staring at me afterwards but now he's suddenly acting "nice" and tries to talk gently to me. Why's he suddenly acting like this? he's acting like nothing even happened.

He might have resting bish face, it plagues thousands of nice people all the time, he probably didn’t know he was glaring. I’m sure he didn’t mean it.
