Is owning a Ferrari/Lamborghini worth the high cost of maintenance?
For those who own one, is/was it worth it?

if the cost worries you - DO NOT GET an exotic car
maintenance cost will be HIGH
anything breaks - cost will be a fortune
Insurance- horrendous
Leasing will cost even more- - cos car will be a lot newer

I would think if you owned something like that, the cost of maintenance is a non-issue

There isn't a high cost of maintenance!
The CAR is expensive,
and
The INSURANCE is expensive!
What's the big deal about some oil, filter, brakes, etc?

=) absolutely not. I have a '55 Tbird. It's super easy to work on. I bought the car at auction & paid less than 30 grand. 300 horse power & just as eye catching.

I owned a 308GTB for as short time. It was pretty. I was newly divorced and wanted to impress women. It seemed to do this. I soon found that periodic maintenance would cost more than the purchase price, and got out in time. I replaced it with a red Myata and I don't think the women noticed the difference. The tiny Mazda impressed then about as much.

Those who can afford one of them do not lease them! They pay with a check.
As for some one who owns one- Such people have better things to do the answer questions here.

Leasing is the most expensive way to acquire any vehicle. If you can afford the vehicle, you can afford the maintenance.
