do nouns come first in japanese and verbs come last?

The general word order in Japanese is Subject-Object-Verb. Both subject and object will be nouns.
However, the subject is very frequently omitted when it can easily be inferred from context, and the subject and object order can be reversed for emphasis.
The only hard rule when it comes to general sentence structure is that the verb always comes last.

the only order that really matters in japanese grammar is that the verbs must come last. Everything else is up to you
