You can get fat from anything if you eat enough of it.

If you overdo it then yes. If not then no. Many people especially those of us on the shorter side will see results quicker if we cut our portions in half and make sure what we eat is healthy. Its just important to do it sustainbly carbs, protein, etc. how much you do or don't need is gonna vary based on the person and their fitness goals.

Yes, The simple act of eating carbohydrates will not cause weight gain. However, eating too much carbohydrate (or fat or protein) can lead to weight gain. Carbohydrates include all bread, pasta, rice, fruits, vegetables (especially starchy ones), milk, and sweets.

Fat can be gained from eating anything. When someone consumes more calories than their body needs, the body will store the excess (often as fat).

People store fat because the consume more calories than their bodies need.  If a person only at vegetables and some how managed to eat more calories than they used, their bodies would store the extra fuel as fat.  That is very unlikely because vegetables are low in calorie for their volume and general include a fair amount of fiber, so the net carbs (carbs that can be used as fuel or stored as fat) is very low.

Only if you remove them from the whole vegetable, robbing your food of insoluble fiber.

Interesting,  isn't it.   Insoluble fiber is the KEY to fat loss and diabetes II prevention.

    And most heart disease.

    And most hypothyroidism.

    And most PCOS

    And most IBS

    And most colon cancer.

    And most skin disorders.

    And most poor immune systems.

Eat whole foods ONLY and drink water,  unsweetened teas and unflavored milk ONLY.

I read it on a box of cereal,  which are mostly poisonous when eaten regularly.
