what are advantages and disadvantages of non print media?

Disadvantages = It doesn't work if the electricity supply, internet connection or web server is having technical gremlins such as a power cut or disconnected wire or an incorrect version of PHP or something.... or someone forgot to pay the bills, or ran out of alloted bandwidth.
Saves on paper and ink
Can be made with a free PHP script such as Wordpress, or something more expensive and custom.
Easier to correct spelling & grammar screw-ups on the fly after it's been published.
If the text is too small, then readers can simply adjust the zoom level on their browser instead of struggling on with reading glasses + a magnifying glass.
You can still read it in the dark without need for external light
Can offer much better value for money advertising options, so instead of running a huge advertising department you can simply embed some code on the webpage, and an agency such as Google Ads / Media.net / Infolinks / BuySellAds + others take care of the rest.... and it's way cheaper for advertisers, but at the same time let you potentially rake in more money if you can get the traffic.
Like a traditional print advertisement could potentially set you back £50 to £300 or more and the publication's income is limited to space available to put them.
With non-print it can cost as little as a tenner, with a wider range of advertisers and unlimited space... with adverts more customised to the reader's interests.... and can potentially make way more from the adverts too... like some website advert providers i've seen aren't interested in taking on clients unless they're already raking in £5000 to £10000 a month in Adsense revenue.
It's a great leveller, and a "little guy in a shed" type operation can potentially stand a chance of trading blows with bigger established media companies.
Can provide useful extra links to things in content.... like if you're doing an article on a charity such as "Code of Vets" or the local animal shelter or a family that got screwed by insurance you can include a link to a donation page they may be running.
Can jazz the content up a bit by embedding related social media posts, or video content off YouTube (or Bitchute, or Vimeo, or DailyMotion, or Rumble, etc).... or a weather map like the one on Ventusky.com
You can also get a better idea of how many people are actually looking at the content.
You can whack content out faster instead of waiting for the next day's edition... can pretty easily type something up, publish it to the website, then share it to social media in well under an hour.... sometimes even less than 10minutes.
These days it doesn't seem uncommon if someone's had an accident, witnesses can get news out about it faster than the emergency services can get to the scene to sort out the mess.....
