Visitors and students are in the US legally as they hold a visa which had conditions, both are temporary for a holiday or to study...if another US president gives amnesty to all the illegals in the US ( again) then they have learned nothing from history as it has in the past already been done and all that happens is more illegals come in the hope that they alo eventually get amnesty which is exactly why the US is in the mess it is in today

No. Temporary visas are just that - temporary. You obtained that visa by agreeing that your stay was only temporary, for that specific purpose (tourism, studying, etc.), and that you were returning home to your own country within the agreed time.
