Is this sentence grammatically correct?
The children were running in the aisles of the supermarket, before one of them crashed into a shopper.

No comma before dependent adverb clauses. This includes clauses starting with because, although, when, before, after, etc.

While "The children were running in the aisles of the supermarket, before one of them crashed into a shopper." is almost grammatically correct, it would be more proper to say: "One of the children crashed into a shopper after they were running in the supermarket's aisles."

It's unclear whether the children were running until the crash and had to stop, or if the crash was just one result of the running.
