Hearing problems when using earbuds?

Question

Over the past couple months my left ear and left ear only has been harder to hear out of using earbuds. It’s only when I move my face/head a certain way. Example if I smile I can hear better, probably opens it up. But my hearing is fine other than occasionally with earbuds. I use q-tips about 2 times a week and I don’t push it to far.

You may have a mass of wax in there 

that needs to be cleaned out by a qualified professional.
