After Queen Elizabeth II’s passing, will Queen Camilla then be the matriarch of the royal family with King Charles as the patriarch ?

Charles will be patriarch, but I don't envision Camilla taking on the role of matriarch. She will remain as low-key a figure as is  possible while carrying out her royal obligations.

I think that as ever, Camilla (who will be the Queen Consort, even if it's said she won't take that title but rather the idiotic 'Princess' Consort) will keep a low key profile IF Charles becomes King.   And that may yet never happen.   His mother has to die first and he has to be still alive when that happens.
