My teacher said I'm rubbish? ?

I didn't know what it meant at the moment since English is not my mother tongue, I found out after searching on google. 

Is that bad?

If English is your second language. They might of said your work is rubbish, not you are rubbish.

Yes your teacher is abusing their authority in order to reaffirm their status in their own mind. Make sure you are given a better teacher n the one you have now never speaks to you again... so you dont learn how to be told youre rubbish. ✨✨✨✨🪄
