If you said to somebody "don't judge a book by its cover" - what does they mean when they respond "I like your cover"?
I hate when people come up to talk to me because of my appearance, I love makeup and clothes but for my own pleasure - I don't care if people think whether I'm attractive or not, I only care about people who value personality over looks.
Yet, you sometimes get "but I like your "cover" (how you looks like" as responds.Are these people trolling or seriously doesn't understand WHY you said that to them?

It's a compliment - appreciate it! There will come a day when you would love to get compliments. Liking the cover doesn't mean they don't like the book also
