There are a lot of European countries which have a lot of socialist economic policies. Economy of European countries is worse than USA and Europeans are very lazy and incompetitive. Competitiveness is necessary for higher productivity, efficiency and robust economy. Leftist ideology is the reason Europeans don't want to compete.

No. Socialism underpins all the happiest countries with the best quality of life in the world. Nine of the  top ten of these are  in Europe, the other is  New Zealand.
