Can I dropship branded products?

Question

I want to start a single product store for an already branded product (I don't own the brand). Is this possible? If so, is it a good idea? I I feel that if I am going to start a single product store, the product shouldn't be from a brand I don't own. However, I found a really good branded product that I feel has potential.
