No. As long as you download from the developers on XDA forums, you should be fine: https://www.xda-developers.com/youtube-vanced-apk/
I started using it on my OnePlus 8 Pro after my student YT premium expired and so far its worked well.

No,youtube vanced no dangerous,cause youtube is social media and also search engineen optimization,Youtube is very helpful for our human beings
