What should we do to jerks?

I mean people who are disrespectful to other people by verbal or non verbal actions. 

There should be a law that these jerks people should be slapped on the face and it should be legal!

freedom of speech is not personal.... there is a difference between commenting a president and being a jerk to random people....

The quandary of course being that there isn't a living soul who hasn't had a bad day and been a jerk at least once in their lives.
