after i put a DVD into my DVD player, it sounds like it is making a bit of grinding noise & shaking the disc around before playing..why?

i dont notice this with other DVDs. is this DVD maybe a cheap one? why? how can tell? should i continue to play it?

The dvd is probably defective (off balance). Using it will probably damage the dvd player eventually.
