i need help with doing this question and explaining how to do it?

    You can draw two identical circles in such a way that the center of each circle lies on the edge of the other circle.  Call the interior of one circle A, and the interior of the other circle B.  So AUB is all of the area that's inside the outer boundary, while AnB is only the football-shaped piece in the very middle.

    (a)  This is the region that entirely outside your circles.

    (b)  This set is just the small football-shaped piece in the very middle.  It's the same as AnB.

    (c)  This set is the two crescent-shaped pieces that surround the football-shaped piece, but the football-shaped piece is NOT in this set.
