If Boris ignores the will of the Scottish people by refusing an independence referendum, should Sturgeon approach Biden to apply pressure ?
If it was a choice of course it would be better to be ruled by Germany than a collection of aristocratic paedophiles but that's not what happens in the EU, it's the collective that decides and they don't choose how we spend our taxes, perhaps study before commenting
"Why should an Iranian care so much about British politics?"
Perhaps you don't know, but you made the Iranian thing up, perhaps increase your medication

Scottish voters voted in the 2014 referendum to stay in the UK on the basis that it would remain an EU state. They confirmed their wish to stay in the EU in the 2016 referendum and it is likely the result of the 2014 referendum would have been different had they known the UK was gong to leave the EU. They deserve another independence referendum now the UK has left. But I doubt if Biden would get involved. I'm not sure he would even get involved in Irish reunification.

The United States is more disunited than the (dis)United Kingdom.
Sturgeon just wants to be president of Scotland and is a wretched person.
They would be better off under Alex Salmond as president.

the Referendum Failed the Majority of the Scottish people wanted to remain British
"Should Scotland be an independent country?", which voters answered with "Yes" or "No".
The "No" side won with 2,001,926 (55.3%) voting against
independence and 1,617,989 (44.7%) voting in favour.
turnout of 84.6% was the highest recorded for an election or referendum in the United Kingdom since the January 1910 general election,
only 47.7 wanted Independence so once again Democracy worked
if people insist on another referendum i want best of 5

Oh if only the English could get a referendum vote on whether the scots irish and welsh should be cast aside to fend for themselves in the big wide world omg to turnout would be so overwhelmingly to end the union and the giving of billions of pounds in cash to those crappy countries . hahaha i dunno why the numpties dont just declare a UDI and break the union that way if they want to be free.

Should Scotland hold another referendum, what would they gain from independence? They don't pay any fees to belong to the UK, but would have to pay fees to the EU. At the moment, Scotland can challenge any and all decisions made in Westminster, but they wouldn't have such clout in the EU. Trade between Scotland and the rest of the UK is free flowing and unfettered, that would change drastically if they gained independence, as there would be a hard border between Scotland and England, and currency exchange costs on all trade transactions, as they would have to adopt the Euro. I can understand (to a certain extent), Scotland's desire not to be ruled by Westminster, but to be ruled by France and Germany instead? Really?

There was a referendum, it must have been before you moved to Scotland. Or became an internet Scot from outside the EU.
The will of the people (not just snp zealots) was to remain in the `UK.
And no, the ravings of a nationalist party have nothing to do with Biden.
Typical though, the snp and its supporters seem desperate to find a new sugar daddy to pay their bills, be it the EU or Biden.
Do the snp know what independence means?Source(s): Not your choice, why should an Iranian care so much about British politics? When you care enough to get out a dozen socks......hilarious obsession

Biden has no jurisdiction over the UK government; are you simple or recovering from a brain injury?
