how to add a non windows VHD to bcdedit?

Question

is there a way to add the linux .VHD file to my boot list for windows 10 because of i dont have a way to install it with a usb can someone please help me if its not possible can you please explain why it would not be possible

Why not run virtualbox and run the vhd?  You don't need to convert it, you don't need to risk screwing up windows boot, you can snapshot it so you can recover in time, you can add a real disk and put your image on that so it is outside windows storage.
