When you are baking a cake or any other pudding does the amount of the ingredients have to be exact in the recipe or I can add more or less?

    Baking is chemistry.  You should be as exact as you're able.

    I usually use less sugar, the cups and teaspoons don't have to be precise measurement. Experiment, have some fun.

    Baking you should stick to the recipe amounts.
