what do you think of these lyrics for a potential country song ?

i thought you were the star

of my sky

but instead you keyed my car

you lied

i poured you whiskey, we drank for joy

then I woke up and saw my car

destroyed...

oh why oh why did you do it ?

is it because I'm a fool to be used

and you knew it ?

oh why oh why did you do it ?

is it because I'm a tool to be screwed

and you knew it ?

you came to the bar with a hammer

when I met you I noticed you spoke

with a stammer

I was drunk, listening to blondie playing

you mentioned something, i couldn't make out

what you was saying..

oh why oh why did you do it ?

is it because I'm a fool to be used

and you knew it ?

oh why oh why did you do it ?

is it because I'm a tool to be screwed

and you knew it ?

I think it needs some closure in it. Something uplifting and powerful to say you're fine or will be fine. I would maybe try to change some of the rhyming words to something a little more catchy. "You keyed my car, you lied", that escalated quickly. If I don't know what they lied about I can't relate cause if someone keys my car I probably cheated lol. Orville peck is a great country artist, maybe his music can give you some inspiration. His last song with shania twain is beautiful
