What’s the difference between “intense” and “extreme” violence?

“A difference between M and AO-rated games in terms of violence are M-rated games have intense violence while AO-rated games have extreme levels of violence.”

    different words, same meaning

  • My interpretation of this is that intense might be as the word implies and simply has intense moments of violence...but extreme implies that the player is probably gonna see a LOT more of such than maybe just in a few scenarios or as if the whole game revolves around the idea 🤔

  • one level is deemed acceptable for teenagers, the other strictly for over 18's, censors check out random content from a game and give it a censorship rating as above, and don't tell me there isn't variable differences of violence because that would be ignorant

🥴 All violence is intense. Extreme means more.
