If a tv from 2010 that's not high end model, went for around $1k-$1,099, how much would it cost now?

The tv is a sony kdl-46ex500, i measured the tv's dimensions & it seems like a 50in could tho screen size could be 46.

Update 2:

Remove the could after 50in LOL

You'd feel better & get good Kharma by donating it to a trusted Good Will location, or call to have it picked up. It's worthless to most who are looking for a TV, & a wonderful "Gift" to a poor person or family who have electricity & a good Antenna.

Following 10 years you'll be blessed to leave behind it I don't think the pawn shops will take them that old

    In 2010 I got a 32in LCD tv.

    In 2015 I got 40in Smart Tv

    In 2020 I got a 50in Smart TV

    All premium brands.

All cost about the same, £300-350.

Can’t wait to see what I can get for that in 2025!

So if you can get a new 50 in TV for that, a 10 year old one is worth next to nothing.

I'm seeing used TVs like this one going for $200-$300 used on classified sites.

Of course, that being an asking price, that doesn't means that 1) Anyone bought it, and 2) That they paid the full asking price.

Given that modern new Sony TVs in that size range ( I don't think that they still make 46 inch models anymore ) go for around $450-$550, getting half of that for a ten year old set would be a stretch.

ten year old? if its plasma maybe someone will pick up as its not a normal thing and some people like that.  Otherwise maybe £50 or so.

about $600 new , 10 years and its old . tvs work on there size standard hd are for not bigger then 40 inch , full hd are good for 55 inches , the you have 4k which is 4 times and a full hd is for 75 inch tvs . the bigger the screen the more pixels it need . if your tv is used try $200

I’m not sure what you’re asking exactly.

If you figure inflation, maybe 1500-1600.

If you mean how much it would be worth today, maybe 300 at the most. I bought a 26” 720p for around 1500 back in early 2000 and a 26” 720p/1080i tv is worth around 300 today, if that high.

A 1080p 55” tv is around 500 now. Back in 2010, it would be around $1000.
