Why do hairs removed by the root grow back?

If I pluck a hair and remove it by the root, what causes my body to remember that there used to exist a hair there and they should probably make it grow back?

They do grow back. However, after repeated plucking, some die. I'm not a licensed professional, but I can tell you that repeated tweezing is the reason that many women have wrecked their eyebrows.

Well when you pluck them don't you think they want revenge!!!

Because the root is pulled from the follicle....which keeps on making new hair.

You don't remove the root when you pluck.
