Has anyone ever done full time in the Army National Guard? What was your experience?

Are you asking about AGR (Active Guard/Reserve)? You serve a tour of active duty as a Guardsman at a specific location and in a specific MOS. You remain in the state of which your Guard is located. Duties are usually administrative or some other full time troop support, planning and/or training.

The 2 week summer camp was  a lot of fun.   We worked our asses off the first week, doing 2 weeks worth of work in one,  the second week was the mother of all  beer parties
