Is the world record for large mouth bass still 22.4 caught in Montgomery Lake, Ga.?

And does anybody know what that bass was caught on bait wise?

    There are actually two.

George Perry in 1932 on Montgomery lake, using a creek chub fintail shiner lure.

Manobo Kurita is said to be tied with Perry with a 22lb 5oz lunker caught in Lake Biwa, Japan in 2009.  Kurita used a live sunfish he had rigged on a 5/0 Fina Power Finesse bait hook.

IGFA regulations require a new record to beat the old by 2 ounces, so Perry and Kurita are considered tied.
