    5/6 = 0.8333

    2/3 = 0.666

    5/9  = 0.5555

    so

    5/6 > 2/3 > 5/9

    so it's descending...

    2/3-5/6=(4-5)/6=-1/6<0=>2/3<5/6

    5/9-2/3=(5-6)/9=-1/9<0=>5/9<2/3

    Thus, 5/6, 2/3, 5/9 are not ascending

    but descending.

    Get a common denominator. The lowest common denominator of 6, 3 and 9 is 18:

    5/6 = 15/18

    2/3 = 12/18

    5/9 = 10/18

    Now sort them in ascending order (they are currently in descending order).

    10/18, 12/18, 15/18
