Is it ok to give treats to someone else’s cat?

On the one of the streets of the area where I deliver there is a cat that tans around which is tame I given it treats before for it to eat from the ground. Is it ok to do that?

    No. You should get permission from the owner first. This is common sense

    I don't see why not.  I carry a big bag of cat food in the trunk of my car for when I come across strays.

    Probably.  They might have the cat on a medical diet though, and you might be upsetting that.
