Is there a way that I can make this new phone work better for me?

I just got an lg stylo 6 last Wednesday, and I Hate the sound system. Is there a way to make the system more manageable? I can lower the volume, but that cuts into the lower tones, like speech and that kind of thing. Is there a way to make the sound/volume less intense? That's the only thing keeping me from using it.

To anonymous: my hearing recently has been really sharp lately, which is why that sound system really hurts my ears. I would turn down the volume, but the difference in tone is huge. Even a slight drop in volume drops it to near nothingness.

Update 2:

Normal full volume on my stylo 4 is fine, I prefer it. I'd return the phone, but for it and all the accessories cost almost $400. The phone itself cost about $250.

Do you have compromised hearing? Damage which doesn't allow you to hear lower frequencies like voice? Usually hearing damage is in the upper ranges like music. That's just my opinion.

You might want to try out "rootbrian2000"'s suggestion of using a wired earpiece or a Bluetooth earpiece. I've used both when I want privacy for the other end of the conversation or I want a better sound quality.

Have you considered using a wired headset or Bluetooth device? Sometimes those solve the volume/sound system problem (especially if it's on the soddy side). Also, transferring data from your previous device would introduce more problems (settings will conflict).

If unsatisfied, you could just return the device to the store if you are within the 15 day return period, and purchase something else. .
