Ear infection or stroke?

I had vertigo the other morning, first time ever experienced this and lost balance. I had panic attack and felt dizzy lying down. Next day rang 111 spoke to lady who was paramedic, she got me doctors appointment who suspected and then a blocked ear and found ear infection but I worried it was a stroke or TIA.

Doctors are rubbish, 7 years intensive trading, years of seeing patients and they mistake strokes for ear infections.

    Dreadful?

Beside that I have had many ear infections which all cause Vertigo.

But according to you they have all been strokes.

Ear infections do cause those types of symptoms, but get a 2nd opinion if you are worried

I am not a doctor so I cant tell you anything for sure. I honestly wouldn't panic. However, if you are really worried about a stroke then you should definitely get in touch with your doctor or 111 again.

So you don't believe a GP who has trained for 10 years, but do trust random non-medical people on this site?  Stroke symptoms on the link.
