Is it pretty bad that a 31 year old boy still lives with his mommy and daddy?
He has a good job. He just won't move out

His parents raised him that way. It is not his fault. It is the fault of the parents

no, not in america. In america you cant live independently unless you get yourself into debt or live in a crammed apartment with one to four other people.
unless you are friends with someone in management at work, or sleep around for a promotion you are out of luck , education means nothing and neither does hard work in this country. **** america.

Of course not. there are many reasons why someone lives with there parents.
They are very close to their family
they cant afford an apartment or they can but they prefer to be roomates with there parents
He's saving money
He doesn't want to move
Leave him alone and unless your offering him to stay at your place and pay no rent or minimal rent. then leave the man alone.

Well, context matters. Perhaps, there are good reasons. Is he helping care for an ill parent? Are his parents having financial struggles? Does he live in a place where housing is inordinately expensive? Lots of factors to consider.

Do you feel that much better about yourself by putting him down? Do you spit at squirrels too?

No way, you're a cool guy. The world is waiting for you and everyone's bad, everything's a risk. Your want to love n find someone is all that'll keep you protected there, a beautiful prospect. Be brave, every minute & second is one without them. Protect yaself with a course or training. 👨💼

They haven't kicked him out yet so they apparently have no issue with him living off them so.......
Nothing to see here folks; move on!

I think that we as a society need to relax on the comparisons.
If that is an environment he’s happy in then it is pretty good.

31 year old boy....LOL. Have a meeting with 31 and ask him to move; say his space is needed, provide a list of available apartments and money. Try tough love if boy is a troublemaker take him to a beach resort and leave him. The last option is allow 31 to stay and ask for rent money.
